how to set live facebook streams to mono

i have the microphone on channel 1 which is left and it should play it into stereo. when i record on facebook live it just is hearable on the left channel. when i record on youtube it is mono channel

who else hates the new desktop layout by facebook

i think its really fucking annoying. i have been using it for like 2-3 weeks now because they forced it and it sucks.
