Unless you make crazy content who are likely not to succeed on youtube. I have the feeling that more and more attention is moving to tiktok.
While youtube for sure is here to stay i feel the biggest hype is really moving towards tiktok. My channels have thousands of subscribers on youtube and i am receiving maybe 100 views per upload and lots of negative people commenting. I havent had a negative comment on tiktok yet. |

drew Developer At Nucleo , Jr Firefighter 5 months ago If you have an existing large platform moving to youtube isn't too hard - take big TikTokers for example who only recently made Youtube channels but are thriving thanks to their communities elsewhere. If you're starting out on Youtube I feel like you need to grow your presence outside of Youtube to draw people in. i think a lot creators who are large somewhere else dont even waste time with youtube. i have seen some instagram or tiktok celebs who just uploaded one or two videos on youtube. you really need too many visitors to make decent money with it danji Spiritual Teacher, Energy Healer, Programmer, Youtuber, Tiktoker :) · 5 months ago Reply to danji @danji That's definitely true, I suppose it all really depends on your audience and what you're trying to do. drew Developer At Nucleo , Jr Firefighter · 5 months ago Reply to drew @drew i am definitely fascinated by the sheer power creators get over tiktok... there is this girl from philippines. she looks like a cartoon character. she is 19 and has 20 million follower only for lipsyncing and moving the camera in a funny way danji Spiritual Teacher, Energy Healer, Programmer, Youtuber, Tiktoker :) · 5 months ago Reply to danji |
